We cordially invite you to attend our Parent-Teacher Conferences. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to become acquainted with your child’s teachers and to discuss their achievements throughout the semester. To accommodate your schedule, teachers will be available for appointments both virtually (via Zoom) or in-person at Grayslake Central for 10-minute conferences on two different dates.
Thursday, October 20, 2022 (4:00 pm – 8:00 pm)
Friday, October 21, 2022 (8:00 am – 12:00 pm)
Registration for conferences will be conducted through the Pick-A-Time website. The event opens Tuesday, October 11 at 8:00 am and closes at 11:59 pm on Tuesday, October 18th. Please use the attached step-by-step instructions to sign up for conferences.
Once you schedule your appointments in the system, the room number or Zoom link required for each of your conferences are accessed through the Pick-A-Time website by clicking on “Your Schedule” or “Printable Schedule” within the website. If attending virtually, Zoom links are shared under the “Details” feature and please know you will be held in a waiting room until the teacher is available for your scheduled time. Please use your student’s Chromebook to join the Zoom meeting to prevent any issues and to ensure that your student’s name is displayed for access from the waiting room. If attending in person, please enter through the Fieldhouse (Door 22) or Bus Doors (Door 28).
By having conferences in October, parents and teachers are able to have a conversation early in the year so they can work together to ensure student success. To track student progress before and after conferences, please visit PowerSchool.
