ABOUT ME

Elizabeth O'Hara

Ms. O’Hara has been Grayslake Central’s Transition Specialist since August of 2022. Prior to joining District 127, she has worked in Adlai E. Stevenson High School’s Transition Program as well as at the Riverside Foundation. She has experience serving a large, diverse population of students with varying needs and backgrounds. Ms. O’Hara completed her undergraduate degree at Saint Norbert College where she majored in both History and Secondary Education and minored in both Psychology and Broad Field Social Studies. She then enrolled at the College of Lake County to complete her English as a Second Language certificate. Most recently Ms.

O’Hara earned her Masters from National Louis University in Education in Curriculum and Instruction with Advanced Professional Specializations, specializing in Learning Behavior Specialist I and Learning Behavior Specialist II Transition Specialist.
