This semester at Grayslake North and Central High Schools is off to a busy start! Students dug into hands-on experiences that go way beyond the classroom. 🌱 🐔At Grayslake North, students learned how to make pickles, learned Sign Language, and even met some therapeutic chickens and ferrets! Meanwhile, Grayslake Central's students transformed old t-shirts into braided dog toys for local animal shelters. 🐶❤️ 💌 And that's not all! Students from both schools spread kindness by writing heartfelt letters to seniors and making friendship bracelets for our community. It's about empathy, connection, and making a positive impact. 📝💕 🌍 These activities are just the beginning of a semester filled with growth, learning, and responsibility.
