This semester at Grayslake North and Central High Schools is off to a busy start! Students dug into hands-on experiences that go way beyond the classroom. 🌱 🐔At Grayslake North, students learned how to make pickles, learned Sign Language, and even met some therapeutic chickens and ferrets! Meanwhile, Grayslake Central's students transformed old t-shirts into braided dog toys for local animal shelters. 🐶❤️ 💌 And that's not all! Students from both schools spread kindness by writing heartfelt letters to seniors and making friendship bracelets for our community. It's about empathy, connection, and making a positive impact. 📝💕 🌍 These activities are just the beginning of a semester filled with growth, learning, and responsibility. We are conducting a research project to learn more about what our community thinks about important issues here. D127 is holding a series of input sessions and would love for you to participate. Community members must not have any students attending D127 schools.

There will be an Informational Meeting for the France and Spain Trip in March 2025. This trip is open to all French and Spanish students, if you are interested, please attend on Wednesday, Dec. 6th at 6:30 in Room C105 at Grayslake North. A Zoom link will also be provided later.

GCHS Administration hosted and cooked for our annual BreakFEAST for staff this morning. We are so thankful for our dedicated staff!
